A rare photo - both of us playing in the same point and captured in the same shot! The tournament was fun, but ended poorly for us. Our team was expected to win out and go on to Nationals in Florida, but instead we lost two close games that put us in third place, one spot out of the running for Sarasota. Understandably, our team was extremely disappointed. But now, after the fact, I think we realize that the reason we play is not necessarily just for the competition and the winning titles, it's all about our teammates and the awesome relationship we have as a team. This level of camaraderie that comes from training, practicing, traveling, winning and losing together is something we have yet to find anywhere else.
